Puree of the day

Tonight at dinner we did not do so well. Of course if you could see the contents of the dinner plate  you might have a better understanding of why Fay would possibly lose interest.  Tonight I was informed (because one can never tell by the appearance of the puree what the source might be) that dinner was sausage, three bean salad, and vegetable soup.  Apparently this appetizing combination  was not as tantalizing as  it sounds.  Fay usually rallies for ice cream with chocolate sauce, but tonight she only wanted a few bites.
We went upstairs to see her blog.  She was excited to see Reed's comment and Maren's picture on the follower section (we enlarged it a lot so she could see Maren better).  Fay always lingers on the pictures of a certain man.
We read a bit from her journal.  I realized she was dozing off, so I reluctantly stopped reading.  (I know I promised not to reveal the contents of the journal, but in this reading she wrote of Aaron entering the MTC and how very proud she was of him.)

  1. I clearly remember my feelings as Aaron entered the MTC. It was a crazy mixture of love and relief. Relief because he was such a pill just before he left. He didn't even choose ties or socks for himself! Had to do all that myself. On the other hand Anna was hard to keep up with. She was constantly busy in her preparations.

Mom, I love you so much! I am glad that you like looking at Dad's picture.

DeDe, I haven't been able to talk to them about the ensure. Just keep ignoring it until I do.

  2. Much love from our visit to South Dakota! Graham is spending a little time with his Great Grandpa, and hopefully he'll be able to see Great Grandma soon.

If you ever want to show any of our videos (I don't know if the connection is good enough) the link to all of them is right here:

We miss you, Grandma, and hope you're doing well!

  3. Hi Grandma! I was stuck eating purees for 8 weeks after a jaw surgery. It took some work to find things that I like pureed. Soups were always pretty good. I love you and think of you all the time.

  4. Hi Grandma! We booked our flights today! Very excited to visit! Ryan and I talked the other night about when we visited you and Grandpa. It was the first time he had Texas BBQ at Kreuz! Too bad they don't puree brisket! Love you!
    Love,
