Tonight, after dinner, we went upstairs to the residents computer to see Fay's new blog. I did show it to her and told her that she already had 3 followers, Carol, Kevin and Ty. Her reaction was hard to read. She was not as responsive as she was yesterday. This is not uncommon, she has good communication days and not so good communication days, occasionally a wonderfully talkative day. I asked her if I could borrow a couple of pictures from her room to post on the blog. She said yes haltingly (Vern has scanned them already. Now to figure out how to add them to the blog...) .
We read a few entries from her journal, which is so incredible! She described making pinatas for the Christmas parties at Lubumbashi and Nyashi wards. She made a rooster and a "Morris the cat" pinata.
She started drifting off so we called it a day.
We will check her blog every evening after dinner. If anyone would like to comment I think she would be thrilled.
Grandma, I can only imagine the adventures you and Grandpa have had together through your years together!! I look forward to visiting you in February! I love the pictures!
